Ah, i think it is ok for a topic... no worries.

However, here are some of my choices for ones that i DIDN'T end up posting:

-Thomas Lang's little red shoes, aren't they cute?
-Best looking drummer.
-Practice wear, commando or briefs?
-Drum throne weight limits.
-What drum wrap is best to 'get chicks'.
-Where do wing nuts end up when they fall off and are midgets responsible?
-Virgil signed my ass!... pics included.
-What is with the LP tambourine called the 'Hand Held Cyclops'???
-Your arse ever go numb after a practice session of double bass strokes?
-How do you pronounce CLWarunki's 'Warunki'?
-Does this pink thong make me look fat?

Sure, he has dozens of influences but Gadd and Chaffee were the two who had the greatest impact on his playing concept.

Also true, Yamaha and Zildjian were bright enough to get Gadd, Vinnie and Weckl - for awhile at least, and therefore influence the purchasing habits of a generation or two of drummers who idolized them.
